“People want a return of their capital, not on their capital.”

A great quote by Natixis Bleichroeder technical analyst John Roque. I've found myself uttering these very words.

The video is almost as good as THE DAILYSHOW with Jon Stewart.

The quote comes where the host says “Onto fixed income we go”, and Roque says “Okay, it’s curious to me how everybody keeps telling me we’re not Japan. Well, if we’re not Japan why does the 30 year treasury bond continue to look so bullish? It’s really the only asset out there that continues to rally.” It’s at about 3:30/5:18 on the video.

Wow, these guys talk fast, don’t they?

“He’s not a Hoya?”

If you’re like me and wondered what is a Hoya go to

Roque is certainly right when he says: “The trend is down.”

Good luck to all!
